Cancellation Policy

Refunds are calculated as a percentage of the total package price, based on how far ahead of your first safari date you notify us of a cancellation in writing.

Forest department safari permits are booked and paid for on your behalf in advance and are, in almost all cases, non-refundable and non-transferable once issued — this is a rule of the forest department, not JungleViibes. Where a permit has already been secured at the time of cancellation, its cost is deducted from any refund due under the tiers above, regardless of the cancellation window.

We would rather move your trip than lose it — rescheduling to new dates within 12 months is offered free of charge with 15 or more days' notice, subject to availability and any already-issued, non-transferable permits. Rescheduling with less than 15 days' notice is treated as a cancellation and rebooking under Section 1.

If a reserve is closed by forest department order, or travel becomes impossible due to extreme weather, natural disaster, epidemic restrictions or similar events outside our control, we will offer a free reschedule where possible. Where rescheduling isn't practical, any refund is limited to amounts we are able to recover from our own suppliers, less permit and processing costs already incurred.

Guests who do not arrive for a confirmed safari or package, without prior written cancellation, are treated as a same-day cancellation and are not eligible for any refund.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 14 business days of written confirmation. International card refunds may take longer to appear depending on your bank.
