    Pick up from Nagpur hotel at 9:00 AM. Visit the Gorewada Rescue Center to see rescued leopards and tigers. Have a pack lunch, then board the forest department vehicle for a guided safari in the bio-park. Return to your hotel by 4:00 PM.

Where is Gorewada located?

Gorewada is located on the outskirts of Nagpur city, making it a quick 20-minute drive from the city center.

Is this a wild safari or a zoo visit?

It's a managed zoo and safari park, not a wild core zone — animals are in large drive-through enclosures. We're upfront that it's a different experience from our reserve packages, best as a layover or family-friendly add-on.

Is this suitable for young children?

Yes — it's one of our most family-friendly options, with a guaranteed wildlife sighting and a shorter, less demanding day than a full reserve safari.

Can this be booked with only a few days' notice?

Usually yes — as a day tour close to Nagpur with simpler entry requirements than the wild reserves, it's the easiest package on our list to slot in at short notice.

Does this run year-round?

Yes — unlike the wild core zones, Gorewada isn't affected by the July–September monsoon closure, so this tour is bookable any month.
